Universal Compatibility

We designed the KBM Stick to be compatible with most keyboards, using optional magnetic ball attachments that adapt to any keyboard shape. This flexible mounting system ensures you can always reposition the Joystick to your desired location with ease whenever you remove and reattach it, providing consistent setup and convenience.

Seamless Integration

The KBM Stick comes with standard Xbox controller software and is ready to use immediately. This works especially well in games that support both controller and keyboard inputs simultaneously, such as Fortnite. For games that only support keyboard inputs, this Joystick for Keyboard can be recognized as a keyboard via a firmware update, outputting the arrow keys as directions and 0 on the button.

How to install your KBM Stick

The KBM Stick is ready to use right out of the box and can be installed in a few simple steps:

  1. Place the KBM Stick in your preferred position on the keyboard.
  2. Connect the USB-C cable to your PC.
  3. Test the it in your favorite game and adjust the hand rest and joystick as needed.
  4. Attach the included metal plates to your keyboard to magnetically secure the KBM Stick. And there you go!

    Fait effectivement ce qu’il promet, et le fait bien.
    J’ai commandé ce joystick en novembre 2024 il y a plus de 6 mois. C’est très plug&play : une fois branché, les jeux compatibles manette le reconnaissent sans paramétrage supplémentaire.
    J’ai terminé Cyberpunk et joué plus de 50h à Palworld avec, et j’en suis très satisfait. Le seul inconvénient et que la plupart des jeux proposent un support manette mais pas forcément nativement de combo manette+clavier simultanément : le jeu a l’impression que l’on switche en permanence entre les deux. Cela affecte certaines interface, par ex : lorsque l’écran affiche “appuyez sur telle touche pour réaliser telle action”, cela intervertit en permanence entre afficher une touche de manette et une touche de clavier, mais c’est purement visuel.
    Le gameplay fonctionne à merveille 99% du temps, avec quelques exceptions très rares, par exemple dans Cyberpunk où je pouvais tout faire en me déplaçant sauf des dash (le jeu ne supportait pas la touche “dash” simultanément à un déplacement au joystick. Pourquoi ? Mystère). Sur Palworld et Halo Infinite, je n’ai eu aucun souci lors de mes longues heures de jeu.

    La qualité de fabrication est tout à fait OK, avec les pièces plastiques imprimées en 3D d’une qualité élevée (bien au-dessus de tout ce que j’imprime moi-même héhé) et agréables au toucher.

    Si vous voulez combiner la précision de la souris avec la subtilité de déplacement du joystick, je vous le recommande. Il faut seulement être prêt à prendre 15/20 minutes par jeu pour reconfigurer ses raccourcis ! Ce que je vais faire de ce pas pour World of Warcraft, après avoir téléchargé le firmware qui permet de convertir le joystick en entrées type “flèches” 🙂
